ABOUT THE COLLECTIVE
Primitive is a creative collective.
But not in the traditional sense.
It’s not a production company. Not an agency.
It’s a living framework—a network of artists, directors, musicians, designers, and filmmakers—built to bring bold, genre-defying projects to life.
At its core, Primitive offers something rare:
ownership and authorship for the creators behind the work.
This site is a home for the projects that emerge from that ethos.
Here, you’ll find video essays, music videos, film trailers, art films, sound projects, and other cinematic fragments that live between commercial and conceptual.
It’s also where brands, agencies, and collaborators can explore the work, initiate new conversations, and see what's possible when artists lead.
The collective operates like a constellation—projects orbiting around one another, sharing resources, collaborators, and creative momentum.
Each project is selected because it pushes the boundaries of storytelling or expression, and because it thrives in proximity to other ambitious work.
Primitive supports projects across disciplines:
film, documentary, visual art, poetry, performance, architecture, illustration, animation, and sound.
Some are commercial. Some are personal. Some are both.
And it’s constantly growing.
